Music Against Capital Punishment

     After searching through many songs and various websites I only seemed to find the music industry against the death penalty. Whether there were musicians with death penalty themed songs in interviews explaining they think it's a bad thing or in the lyrics themselves, they all seemed to be against it? Why? I find that musicians are generally quite caring and open minded and care about people. I don't particularly think all musicians are against the death penalty of course but possibly the ones who are for it don't write songs about it to avoid controversy. All in all I don't think it's whether they are for it or against it but you definitely make better sales being sensitive and saying it's wrong. It's not necessarily a big part part of music today compared to other things but it is there and artists are sharing their opinions on it.
