The film industry has quite a few films with capital punishment in them but only a few actually revolve around it. The film industry generally stays quite neutral with capital punishment and whether or not it is good or bad by making the story make you want it to happen to the bad guy or showing the people who are executing others to seem in a position where you have no choice.
Many people are familiar with a very popular movie called The Green Mile that is about someone who is on death row after being falsely accused of a crime. There are cops that have no choice but to go through with it and when they find out the man should not be sent to death, they can't do anything to stop it. The movie shows capital punishment in a bad way in the sense of a good person being falsely accused. The director also shows capital punishment as a good thing when you look at the really messed up people that go into these prisons and you realize some of them deserve to die.
