Capital Punishment in the news (Television, Radio, Newspaper)

Let me start of with saying I do not want to speak about this, the amount of drama this issue creates in the news gives me the most horrendous headaches hearing about it. They generally have people's opinions go up saying that it is right and we should tear them limb from limb like an animal, or that it is so wrong and people should stop killing, violence is not the answer and get so sensitive and upset about psychopaths that they don't know, understand or have the right to speak for them by requesting capital punishment to go away. Technically the news itself doesn't have much of an impact on this situation since unless they have an opinion from someone outside of the station they aren't really going to give their own. They seem to lean more towards the people promoting peace and keeping people alive to ensure their audience believes everyone who works there and everyone they talk to are saints but the news doesn't generally bias one opinion.
