     Capital Punishment, whether it is right or wrong is one of the most controversial topics today. The majority of media shows Capital Punishment as a bad thing, although I am neutral on it I think that it is better for the media to show Capital Punishment as a negative as it gives the audience a sense of trust and security. I think the media should show a more neutral and informative side to it rather than having a bias, even if it isn't obvious what side they're taking. I think some people would like a choice in how they die, how their story ends and how they are remembered. No matter what people do wrong, I think they are stilled owed the choice on whether they would like to be executed and save themselves from what happens in prison or let themselves rot away and be forgotten. Capital Punishment has had a big impact in the news but it really isn't a very important thing to talk about and I feel like it's blown way out of proportion. There is no need for people to run crying that the death penalty is murder, everyone dies eventually, when you commit a crime that gives you life in jail or death, you're basically already dead and are rendered useless to society even if you do only get life in jail. Let the prisoner choose his punishment between the two options he/she would have and then the media will finally stop making it seem like a huge issue.
